The A56 sits near the top of Samsung’s A series. It brings flagship-style features, like an aluminium frame, Gorilla Glass on both sides and 45W charging, to a mid-range price.

The 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display runs at 120Hz and reaches up to 1,900 nits peak brightness, so it stays readable in the Nairobi sun. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protects the front and back.
A camera you can rely on
The 50MP main camera has optical image stabilisation (OIS), which helps with night shots and steady video. It is joined by a 12MP ultra-wide and a 5MP macro camera. The 12MP front camera records 4K video, which is great for TikTok and video calls.
Fast enough for every day
Samsung’s Exynos 1580 chip, built on a 4nm process, handles social media, streaming, multitasking and most games smoothly. Our version has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There is no microSD slot, so the 256GB model is the safer choice if you keep lots of photos and videos.
All-day battery with 45W charging
The 5,000mAh battery lasts a full day for most people. With a 45W charger, it goes from empty to about 65% in 30 minutes. A charger is not included in the box.

The Galaxy A56 5G comes in Awesome Graphite, Awesome Light Gray, Awesome Olive and Awesome Pink. Colour stock changes from week to week, so ask us on WhatsApp which colours are in the shop today. In the box you get the phone, a USB-C cable and a SIM ejection tool. There is no charger or case, so we recommend adding a 45W Samsung charger and a protective case when you buy.
